Ms. Boumeester has a Master’s degree in History from the University of Groningen.

In 2002, she was appointed Managing Director of NS Reigiers and, four years later, CEO of Ns Poort of NV Nederlandse Spoorwegen. In 2008, she became President of the Advisory Board of Reinier de Graaf Groep and TSM Business School.

In 2013, she joined Lid van de Raad van Toezicht, where she currently acts as an advisor for several companies.
