From 1st February, users of our Costa Rican concession, Ruta 27, can now make use of Top Miles, the new free app that allows the collection of points by using Quick Pass, the electronic toll payment system which is operative in the San José – Caldera section in Ruta 27.

When passing through this section, the Quick Pass device emits a signal that is detected by the antennas of the toll stations and, now, with the launch of Top Miles, drivers who use this app to pay their tolls, will be able to collect points when driving through this route and to exchange them for different gifts.

The operation is simple, with Top Miles, which is already available for Android and iOS, each time a user pays a toll in Ruta 27 with their device, they obtain points that are automatically accumulated in the registered account, depending on two factors:

1. The vehicle’s category: this way a truck will earn more points than a car.
2. The toll station through which the user circulates.

In order to access the benefits of Top Miles and start accumulating points, the drivers only have to download the app from the Google or Apple stores and register their Quick Pass number.
