José joined Globalvia at the time of its incorporation back on 2007 in his current position, General Counsel, Secretary to the Board. He is the Head of Legal and from 2018 is the Compliance Officer of Globalvia Group.

He formerly worked as in-house counsel at Caja Madrid, where he took the responsibility of the legal area on financing, investments and corporate advice. He previously had started his career at international law firms like his period at PWC Legal Madrid where he dealt with a wide variety of M&A transactions.

José is graduated in Law by the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, with a post-graduate program in Columbia University in NY and in Compliance by the Uc3M. He serves as professor in the Masters Degree for Admission to Bar at ICADE Law University. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
