At Globalvia, and for the third consecutive year, we lead the GRESB global sustainability index in the “Transport: Road Companies” category.
In the general ranking, we occupy the fifth position among more than 500 companies in the infrastructure sector.
In this edition we have improved the result by one point compared to last year, obtaining a score of 98 out of 100. Thus, we maintain the upward trend in the evaluation since we began our participation six years ago.
This implies that, for the third consecutive year, we are part of the “Five Star” quadrant, which includes the 20% of the companies with the highest scores, out of all the entities from different sectors that participate in this benchmark.
GRESB is the sustainability index used as an evaluation and comparison tool by private and institutional investment funds to measure and assess the quality of their investments in terms of sustainability: environmental, social and good governance.
As usual in recent years, the increase in participation stands out: 149 funds (26% more than in 2020) and a total of 558 assets (31% higher than the 2020 figure).

Again, these results show that our sustainability strategy is aligned with the main international standards on ESG.
