Three years after its launch, the teams of our Chilean asset Autovía Santiago Lampa, celebrate the great milestone of having exceeded 10 million transactions during this month of August! A record that is a source of pride for Globalvia and in particular, for all our colleagues in Chile.

Autovía Santiago Lampa, extension of the 15 km urban section of Autopista del Aconcagua, entered into definitive operation on August 1st, 2018, connecting the Lampa toll with the Quilicura link.

A project that has considerably improved the highway by integrating the latest innovations: LED lighting, high-end cameras that allow long-range monitoring, the perimeter closures that prevent access to the roads, the increase to 25 transverse crossings (seven new crossings that add up to the four that already exist) and 14 pedestrian walkways, in addition to a host of other features.

The fundamental pillars of Autovía Santiago Lampa are safety and inclusiveness. This is translated into a set of measures and technology that have provided a solution to the connectivity problems that previously existed with local roads, traffic jams and dense traffic, and the high rate of accidents, thanks to the provision of better connections, security and a service of attention for our users.
